=>Integer only:
9,19,29,39,49,59,69,79,89,90,91,92,93,94,95,96,97,98,99
9 appears once in each of these 18 numbers and twice in the number 99. Therefore, there are twenty 9s in between 1 to 100
=>All possible numbers (Real numbers):
There will be 20 of the earlier ones plus there will be decimals like 1.999, 9.99, and many more. So there will be an INFINITE number of 9s in between 1 to 100.

Now come to the counting:-
